Thank you for taking the time to visit All About The Cross Ministries.

Our neighborhoods, our church members are hurting with “stuff” from the past, the present and fears of the future. We can either stick our heads in the sand or we can start a revival just by going back to the basics and start praying. We are in Denial if we believe that our Pastors "Overseers" are exempt from issues.

Casting Crowns has a song that says; “What If The Church Prayed?” What if we did pray? Really.  Just prayed and focused on HIM? It is sometimes easy to loose site of HIS will, HIS Face and look at the Lion’s teeth. That’s easy to do!

I believe too, that our churches have forgotten that we are Jesus’ “Bride”. We need to get back to the cross roads of where things started going in different directions. Some churches have gone into DENIAL of that. We might have started making decisions based on our wants and not HIS, finances should not take presidents over Prayer.

I believe that maybe before a church should offer a 12-step recovery program, some of the churches today need to go through a 12-step recovery process… what?

Principle 1 of Celebrate Recovery says:
Realize I'm not God. I admit that I am powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and that my life is unmanageable.

Jesus said In Matthew 5:3 ;
"Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor."
The church gets caught up with hurts, habits, hang-ups, and addictions too. Ever had members leave because of gossip or ill Feelings? Got folks that might be attending because they are addicted to coming to church whenever the doors are open? They may even think that makes them a “Christian”?

I have learned that a bunch of folks when they are hurting will get so wrapped up in being the busiest at church that they think that this makes them a “Christian”?

So, just because we have these opportunities for growth, does not mean we cannot be effective in our own back yards. The first step is realizing that it’s possible there are issues.

That is one reason All About The Cross Ministries exists. Not only to help people get better, but lead them to Jesus; Into HIS loving arms. That means going and loving them where they are. It might mean re-introducing people to HIM. Loving them like Jesus taught us to. Maybe it has been along time since they have felt that? Maybe it has been a long time since your church felt that coming from your church?

All About The Cross Ministries exists to help churches, groups, and ministries who might have lost focus or might be heading that way. We exist to help Ministries who just want to do some different. We are here to come speak, one time or several times. Maybe you are praying for a revival. We are here for you, whatever your needs might be!

We are here especially for Pastors who need a safe place. We offer a "Safe Haven" for pastors, staff, or church leaders to meet;  a location which is comfortable, neutral, safe, and confidential.

Our Safe Haven is available for off site meetings as well as providing a confidential office setting for pastors, staff, or leaders to examine areas which affect their personal walk, their marriage or family,  ministry, or church family.  Just because we are in Ministry does not mean we don't have issues, so where do you go? To a Deacon, another member of your Church? Someone in your Association?

Maybe meeting together one on one is not possible because you live in another State? We are available several different ways.
1- Phone.
2- Internet.
3- Instant Messages.
4- E-mail.

What is shared with us, stays with us, who comes to us stays with us, it is okay for me to say I was some place and I said this, it is not okay for me to say you were there or what you said.

If you as a leader, are facing temptations or have given into temptations which continually drag you into shame and guilt --- I urge you to reach out. I know this is frightening and I know as a Christian leader, how hard and difficult it is to find someone  to trust with these feelings.

The alternative to reaching out is to continue in a cycle which is destructive to your family and your ministry. Jesus has His hands open to  you.  I encourage you ---  Reach out.  It has always amazed me that we, the body of the Church can not extend "Grace" to our "Overseers".

Please pray and pray with your leaders and then pray again! Remember, this is not about me. This is not about you. This is about Jesus and His Bride, and the price that was paid. It is All About The Cross.

In HIS Steps,

Bobby Landreth
